After much coexing “kitty, here kitty” and getting the attention of every other cat, he remained almost lifeless, refusing to feed into the hype of humans. I pushed stuff out of the way obsessed to see his kitty face. Was he even alive? It was so hot out and there were so many kitties in that cage, what if he had died of heat exhaustion!
